Reality TV star (“The Hills”) and founder of the Love Wellness company gives Backstage SoCal a fast lowdown:
How do you feel fashion influencers have changed the fashion industry?
Lo: It’s great to see women who have a platform jump into entrepreneurship. It motivates their audience to know that they too achieve their goals and make their dreams come true. I love the democratization of media in general because more voices are being heard, and more creative energies are being celebrated.
Do you have any daily habits or routines that help you find balance?
Lo: I try to meditate every morning and get some exercise – whether it’s a low key activity like taking a walk on the West Side Highway in Manhattan where I live or a more intense dance cardio class with someone like Megan Roup. Both have value. I try to listen to what my body is telling me and give it what it needs.
What has been your most treasured career moment?
Lo: I relaunched Love Wellness in early August of this year with new products, new packaging, and great content created by our team of medical experts to help educate women about their health. It has been a great success so far and it’s so exciting to see my business grow every day. I feel so proud to have created something out of nothing that has a true impact on women’s lives.
